Hmmm thats really odd? Did you purchase the exact relay I posted?

The relay wont click no matter where the ground is. so it must be the relay?

Sounds like you got a defective relay, at least your truck didn't catch on fire

Just make sure that terminals 7 and 8 are still the relay coil and radio shack didn't change the terminal #s on them.

Also should be a mini diagram of the terminals either on the relay itself or one printed for it. If you post that up I can make sure you are making the proper connections.

Looks like they switched the contact numbers around on the relay for which ones are NO versus NC. You want to switch around the 1 and 3 contacts and the 2 and 4 contacts. In short, wire it up like this:

1 - Violet
2 - Pink
3 - Green/Black
4 - Violet
5 - Blue
6 - Green
7 - Red/Black
8 - Ground source
