Question Making a custom panhard measuring question

So my bro and I are making a adjustable panhard and I know I have seen on 4x4 tv show before how and where to measure from but I forgot and I cant find it. If yall.know where and from it should measured once the lift is intalled that would help thanks. im not sure if that makes sense to yall but I think it does

I would just make it so the minimum length is stock and it extends from there

I think I need to rephrase my question, what I meant was once installed how to measure to find out if the rear axle is straight and aligned ?

Drop plumb on each fender with the wheels off. Then measure the distance from the plumb to the brake drum - they should be equal - unless you've hit a tree!!!

I have the Sonoran unit, and it was out of alignment when I put it in.. When I asked Steve, he told me to pull the vehicle on level ground and remove the pan hard bar. Let the vehicle sit, push it left and right and let it settle. Once settled, adjust the bar and bolt up... I did that shortly after I got it and it has worked great since..

So I finally got some time and made the panhard adjustable, changed the starter and installe a bracket for my cb antenna

Makes avlot of dirrence having the bar align correctly, damn trucks rides smooth again no more jerking to the side.

Yea we thought about it too, so far it seems like it's going to hold up just fine it's really strong grade 8 bolt biggest we could fit inside but only time and abuse will let us know how it hold up. But the driving is much better not that it's aligned.
