Lol.....waiting on a reply.....not gonna purchase till tax time tho so a few more months.

I like to plan all my mods out, examine all possibilities and combinations, then pick the best for my needs. After windrock trip I'm gonna start taking measurments and playing with the calculator. That's when the fun starts.

Think I would be fine with a D44 HP with leaf springs. 35's and run the stock rear until it went BOOM. 20" of travel front and rear would do anything I needed

You'll constantly be fixing the 44 though.....and upgrading your setup.

Ehhh. Right foot will break anything you put in. Might as well go with some Dana 80's, Then you will be blowing transfer cases and tranny's instead of axles and R&P's

Not gonna break this tcase or tranny with 245hp.........I don't think the 44s axles and bearings will hold up in the 2nd gen. The 1st gen guys have a hard time keeping them together, then add 60 more hp and 1000 extra pounds.

For the record (If anyone cares (probably don't)), I would do the FJ80 axle in the stock passenger drop configuration if I faced this dilema. Also, leaf sprung FTMFW

I was thinking the general design with the adjustable coil buckets and notched frame for the steering box for low ride height, he got that thing pretty damn low with 37s and still had usable up travel.
