Kings are aluminum so no rust and very little corrosion. I think they are using high grade aluminum or it has a clear coat because after 2 winters mine look great. Chad's Kings also look great and his are much older then mine.

The only downfall of the Kings is they don't provide "extended travel" which is fine by me cause you don't need it at my malls.

Oh and Ant - Icons/Kings/Fox all come with either 620# or 650# spring from what I remember when I was shopping. My 700# springs were "special order" for the same discounted price through DSMS and they work on Fox just fine - Josh has them. I'm not sure about your options with Icon, but I would use them till they blow out then pay $150 for some new higher rate springs.
I have some 16 650s that I may use. But the idea of letting the truck rot isn't a horrible idea!

And those Kings are, more than likely, clear anodized - Kings are nice and swanky -

It just seems more and more dumber people are buying these tacos, guy aparently just bought it and had it a week, did he not notice it or actually look under the truck to see if there was anything wrong? Hell if he wanted to blow a wad of cash on something I could've sold him my supercharged taco with the 5.7 in it with the racing suspension mod

I would drive it more often then that. Even when I have my moms exploder for extended periods I'm sure to drive it every week. That gas is getting funky I'm sure with all the winter additives in there

I'm talking about the shafts/threads. All the other parts are anodized. I have had no complaints at all with mine. Soon Ill see what it's like to have some lift on them for the first time .

    So back on topic....kind of

Funny you talk about batteries. I worry that I'm gonna ftP out the m3 or seven nary all the time. Driving the m right now. Just left the house minutes ago and van, started right up. It's probably been 6 weeks.

I think the Icon LT shocks required the notch since the resi hose didn't clear the coil bucket but I'm not positive.

Even so I'd still box that in with some reinforcement if I had to notch that, and I wouldn't have bought that truck in the first place

Looks good, I need to pop out my beside still and hit it with some touchup paint

I guess I'll be starting it up more often and hitting some local trails to keep the battery fresh and the juices flowing

damn auto correct!!! I won't even correct it since it is far more entertaining the way it sits!!!

And the extended fit - I have them in my truck right now and if I had an ICON wrench, it would be at the alignment shop. Right now it looks like a teenager's car from the 70's!!! We'll see. I think I may use them just to putt putt around until I get the parts for my Foxes.
