Just wanting y'all's opinion.

I had my carrier bearing swapped out around ~40k miles ago. It's already completely shit itself and is completely blown out. I'll post pics later.

I was looking at the Wookie replacement thread but it doesn't seem to be a viable option as it's too low, way too noisy and apparently can only handle 4,800 RPM's.

I also saw this thread where the guy did a chevy replacement as well. But it looks a bit sketchy and it needs to be done EXACT or you'll have a bunch of vibes at speed again.

Basically it looks like I'll be going back to OEM and swapping it out in another 100k+ miles. :facepalm:

Anyone have any thoughts?

OEM or 1-piece

Yeah it's just that a lot of people have issues with the one pieces. Mine will also be longer than y'alls due to the fact that I have a long bed.

2nd vote for OEM. The carrier bearing helps keep the shaft out of the rocks.
