Yeah, locally I pay about the same. There's a little Mexican place in Santa Ana the does me right - buck a pound (including my states 30 cent slush fund tax).

Whatever their solution is, it won't really DO anything, it will just make everyone feel better/ safer and they're charge more tax for it.

^^^Exactly^^^ and the American tax payer will pay to clean that mess up and provide government "support" to the "victims" b/c California is a broke joke of a state so it will either ear mark or borrow money from the federal gov't to solve this STATE problem!

went to go play in the snow after work. after searching for some roads that hadn't already been plowed, i found some in a brand new development with almost nobody living in it. i underestimated the depth of the snow on the road, and needless to say, got myself stuck. after about 20-25 minutes of tearing up my drivetrain trying to get out, one of the residents in the development came home. it was an older guy in a minivan, with his wife and some other older people. he got out some shovels from his van and we started digging me out. finally got myself out, and thanked the older man. i lead him home, packing the snow down and offering to pull him out if he got stuck. we both made it home safe. all in all, it was great fun!!!

here are some pics, sorry for the quality-- it was really dark out
