Nice pics, and that's a damn good idea on the fire can.

Was that a cordless grinder used to cut the slots in the trash can?

I've seen those weeds before.... there is some expedition trophy type event that goes through them. Can't recall the name though.... looks like a great time on any account.

No cordless here - just a HF grinder with a cut-off wheel.

I will have a good avi of my friend coming through the weeds. All of this was located in Anza Borrego - Coyote Canyon. Very cool time.

I knew it was a HF grinder... the ones that come with spare bushings. My friend has one and I recognized the orange. I didn't realize the OEM inverter could run one... I'm assuming it was run off the factory inverter.

Anza Borrego! I've seen some cool pics from that place!

That's the one! Haven't blown it yet.

Anza is great! You could spend a week there! Our most recent trip there we only spent two days and we were commenting today what a shame it was to only spend two days there. The only reason we didn't spend more was due to Baja. I will be spending some winter time in Anza I'm sure.

Thanks. The trail ended but we didn't want to. Later it really ended. A jeep we met up with didn't want to listen to the signs that said "Protected Area, Absolutely No Motorized Vehicles" We saw him following us about 20 minutes later. I wanted to ask but we were in a hurry to get me to Baja.

Knocked off early yesterday to go shooting with a good bud. xd .40, .38 that had the distinction of getting two bad guys - It was his dad's service revolover, .30 30 - Marlin*, a very cool .22 target pistol, a very cool Browning .22, an AR 15, a couple of shot guns... then it was time to have a couple of drinks and a good camp fire meal...
