The plan for this year is camping first, and then go wheeling once its too hot to camp.
Feb - Hillcountry trip
Mar - Big Bend Ranch
April - ? Hopefully I'll have Clyde up and running and ready to do some wheeling
June - Hawaii for 8 days
After that I'm not sure. I guess I need to put a beer in hand and figure it out.
Beer yes, easy planned trip to local gas station at any given time.
Feb - ?
Mar - East Texas parks
Apr - Caddo Lake
May to early June -
Goliad State Park & Historic Site
Pedernales Falls State Park
Enchanted Rock State Natural Area
Hamilton Pool Nature Preserve
Summer - State of Colorado, 2 weeks
Winter/Dec - Big Bend Natl Park, 1 week
PEDERNALES FALLS STATE PARK (May to June) 5days
We are going on a Family outing, which includes RV camping(Reserved deposit Already) to Pedernales Falls State Park, 5211.7 acres, in Blanco County east of Johnson City.
We also plan on a one day trip also to Enchanted Rock State Natural Area about 1hour and 20 minutes away. After camping we will probably head to the Hamilton Pool, which is about 45 minutes east of Pedernales Falls.

Some of the Planning of the Summer Excursions
Key to Hamilton pool is arrive early. They only allow x number of cars in at any point in time. So on a hot summer day you might be stuck waiting in line to get in.
I drug the wife to the top of Enchanted Rock one day and proposed. Another great place.
I love Perdenales Falls, take the hike across the river. You can find some OLD gravesites that resemble Blair Witch.

I have been to Enchanted Rock, it is nice but not enough to see and do to keep you busy for very long, I spent several days at Garner State park on the Frio river, VERY nice place. You should give it a try.
86 pile of shit 4runner with lots of fucking dents and no build direction
I used to rock climb the back side of the rock back in college.
Waited to late to book the FRIO, campsites at the FRIO fill up to quick, you have to plan like 6 months in advance.
...Yes I know, but my kids would have fun going to the top because they have never been there before.
Yeah, enchanted rock is a good half day trip. But still fun.
I think we should do Long again this summer. Hanging out in that river makes summer wheeling suck WAY less.
Actually I was gonna do Longs this weekend but the weather was too shitty.
Probably take the 4runner, and a tent this time around.. Or... the camper and my generator!
I might be buying an ARB this afternoon BTW
Came from from Barnwell Mountain I think.
I think it's a requirement for rain and mud at the jambo.
