Most of the dealerships don't know shit about diffs. They'll either replace the whole thing or do nothing. "checking the bearings" would be beyond their skill set

Yeah, I gotta say we great pretty good service up here. I have to give props to Nathan (AKA Freeze) and CT4WD, they have done a great job up here in Canada to get the dealerships to sign onboard and support those of us with a 4WD habit. There are 3 dealerships in Calgary that will honor warranty on lifted/modified trucks 4Runners and FJ's so that helps HUGE.

I actually switched dealerships I deal with to go to one of the CT4WD partners and I have to say its been a great experience ever since It helps having a few members who work at the dealerships, and also us providing lots of business to them. In Calgary if word gets around your a bad dealership to deal with you can literally watch the amount of business drop, so dealerships up here take their reputation VERY seriously.

Got the truck back last night, everything was covered under ECP so pretty stoked about that! The only kicker was that it took forever to get the parts, my truck almost spent a week at the dealership waiting on parts. But new driver side wheel bearing, and new pinion seal in the rear and checked gears (no issues in the rear axle) the hum was from the wheel bearing that shit the bed hard.

Glad I got the truck back cause the commute was total shit this morning, major rainstorm and idiots doing 80 km/h (50 mph) on a highway with a posted speed of 110 km/h (68 mph) so it was a gong show. I wish Darwinism could be made legal and we could get rid of the weak genes.
