1991 4Runner, Manual Transmission, 4x4

Just like the Tacoma, my plan is to build an expedition vehicle that is capable of handling very diverse difficult terrains and can drive cross country to find them. Only difference is that I want to be able to tow a trailer.

Drivetrain
In the works 3.4L V6 Swap
Gear Drive Transfer Case with 4.7 gears

Front Suspension
Blazeland Long Travel from Blazeland.us
Bilstein 5125 Shocks, 8.5" Travel 255/70 Valving from Downsouth Motorsports
Ironman 26mm Torsion Bars from Camel 4x4
Aisin Manual Hubs

Rear Suspension
Leaf Spring Conversion
T100 Rear axle
Dakar Leaf Springs for 2005+ Tacoma
Bilstein 5125 Shocks, 14" Travel 255/70 Valving
ARB Locker
4.56 Gears
U-Bolt Flip from Front Range Off-Road

Exterior
Modified Rear Tire Carrier
255/85/16 BFG MT KM2s
16x7.5 Tacoma TRD Offroad Alloy Rims

19" Rain-X Latitude Wipers (instead of the tiny 17" stock length)
H4 Headlight Conversion
Sylvania Silverstar Ultra H4 Bulbs

Interior
Sony CDX-GT330 with iPod Controller
Kenwood HAM Radio
Cobra CB

It will be a couple months before it sees any "action". Gonna do the big 3 before it hits the trails. I'm thinking about trying to sell my Tacoma ASAP to get a pickup and free up some cash for all the mods I've got lined up.

Which big three? Engine/trans/t-case? Suspension/Tires/Armor?
