I did find myself using the Gia app for the trails I did not have loaded in BCN. The zoom and scrolling is smoother and the community library of routes, trails, and points of interest is pretty impressive. I did a little messing around with the tracking portion but not much. Overall I liked it enough to give it more testing and consideration.

I'm almost exclusively using GaiGPS now.

Latest trip to Colorado I downloaded an app called COTREX, Colorado Trail Explorer. It's a mobile app and has a web version as well. Free and from the Colorado Parks and Wildlife. It's got trails based on activity, so hiking, biking, ATV, OHV, motorcycle and horseback. Really a cool application. Colorado Trail Explorer (COTREX)
