I'd pick it up just to have if it was 5 hours away. Since I don't need it it's not worth the drive.

I wish he knew for sure what the gear ratio was. I would like a slightly lower ratio 3rd for my Tacoma than the stock 3.73. That 3rd would bolt right into my 2nd gen right?

I'm just not sure if the small jump from 3.73 to 3.91 (if they are really 3.91 since he says hes not sure) would be worth giving up my truely awesome LSD.

DIY, take the old open carrier out, punch the ring gear off it put it on your LSD carrier and drop it back in, be sure you use the shims that were with the LSD carrier. But you're not talking about much in the way of differance, very little. I think 4.10 would be a much better choice if you can find one.
