I had a shop modify the fog lights to work anytime while it was I. For some other work. Now the interior climate control lights and the shifter lights do t work and the halos on my head lights don't turn on. Also when I turn the headlights on the navigation deck does not change to night mode anymore. Any one have any ideas?

Well got back from the shop today and they got the mirrors working again, had a wire crossed, and the interior lights work again, was a ghost from when I had the lane changer put in, but its all working now.

I was gonna ask how they did the fog anytime mod.. but never mind, sounds like they got it straightened out. What do you mean by a "lane changer"? just turn signals or a marking light?

the lane changer was a module that when you tapped the singal lights they would flash 6 more times, never got it to work with the LED lights so it was removed and thrown out. I was a module that I got online for cheap. Apparently it has issues with LED lights as they do not produce the required resistance to make it work.

Hey Hollywood, tell me more about your Bluetooth controls on the steering wheel. Are those factory controls? It seems you added them after the fact, so do they tie into your Pioneer headunit?

The bluetooth controls I bought new from the dealer and are for a 04 4runner. I had to buy the control and the ribbion cable. I already had an aftermarket Pioneer stereo so all i had to do was install the control which took 30 mins and then have my steering wheel interface module flashed to the latest version by the store that did my stereo and it all worked prefectly. Now i have on my wheel the following controlls:
left: Vol +, Vol -, Track Up, Track Down, Mode
right: answer phone, hangup phone, voice command

If you need the part numbers I can dig them up and the interface module that I used.

Cool, thanks man. I'm thinking about adding BT to my Alpine HU. Once I get off my ass and do it I'll hit you up for PN's. Thanks again.
