I need to get out of the house and it looks like I will have a little time next weekend. Anyone going to hit the trails, water, or ranch. Would really like to fish or maybe try my new bow out on pigs.

Father in-law's land, so free

I've never been out there, so there's no telling what the hunting will be like, but they have a tank on the property and most of they're close neighbors do too. Hopeing to get out there do some dove hunting and set up a deer feeder.

This sounds awesome. I will have shells and a shot gun. Normally the dove hunting is pretty good in this part of the state. Do I need to bring anything to help set up a feeder? Tools, saw, hatchet or anything? Let me know about the amenities, IE electricity, shelter or running water.

We went to the 4WPW run last year at HF. It was pretty fun and they had some great raffle prizes. However, I will be slaughtering the Doves that weekend and will not be able to attend.

My next trip will be Nov16th @HF
