Very very nice! Where did you buy those at? I need a brake job soon and wanted something like that. Q- Do 4wd and Prerunners have different rotors?

Very nice, I'd be interested to know what your results are. I like the idea of the drilled rotors keeping the brakes cooler and the slots keeping the pads surface clean, that should keep the brakes from fadding. Be sure to update us after a month or so.

Its too bad the black on the rotors only lasts for about 100 yards. But after its all broken in they do stop better than stock. At least my EBC rotors with green stuff pads do. I would expect those TRD pads to do the same.

Just installed the same one about a month ago, though I opted out on the black coating. They seem to work a lil better than the OEm stuff?

I got the trd pads at my local dealer since my friend works there and the rotors are from http://brakeperformance.com/

Mines an '07. I drive ALOT. Lol im almost to 70k.
Yeah im looking to upgrade soon. Last year I was towing a trailer with all of my furniture and some old dbag in a Lexus had to cut me off going down a bridge at 60mph. I had to brake so hard that everything shifted in the trailer. Ever since then my brakes feel spongy.

Wierd ever since the first time I had to make an emergency slam on the brakes stop the peddle has been spongy not sure why? Deff different than it was before, issue persisted through 2 sets of brake pads and about 50000 miles. Problem is gone now cause the OE master cylinder is gone replaced by a GM one ton and all the ABS plumbed out of the system.

Yeah it sucks bc before my brakes were perfectly fine. Now the pedals spongy and every now and then I can feel slippage when stopping. It'll do it even when im making a slow controlled stop.

I need to do a brake job on my truck soon. I'm going to try to put it off until 90k though.
