Started out doing some cuts on my Bud Built to get a better mount for my bumper. Turned into bolt together intake , wires, relocating oil drain plug, tranny oil cooler, and repairing one perfectly good radiator that I drilled a hole in. :saw:

Worked on it till dark then had to cook dinner. Got the radiator patched up with JB weld, if anyone has a spare radiator running around between here and Louisiana, I'll buy it cause this ain't permanent.

Got the drain relocated, and worked on the intake, anyone have ideas for plug wires? my last v6 I ran Jacobs everything, but that's hard to find nowadays. Still got cuts to make on skid plate and mount and wire winch.

What I woke up to this morning.

Got the oil drain plug relocated the first night and no seepage overnight but we will see. Tapped the drain out to 3/8 NPT and the went to 6 JIC out the side. Haven't ever had any trail stuff stuck in this area but left me know if anyone sees an issue with the mounting location.

Tranny oil cooler and radiator back in. Hopefully the JB weld will hold for a bit.

Cold air waiting to be finished.

Cold air finished. Planning on doing a snorkel at some point, but I was putting the stock intake back on. It was already siliconed together and leaking bad. The throttle body was dirty bad. so cleaned that all out. Anyone have a timing light near Austin? Gonna wanna check it after I get some new wires on.

Bud Built notched and bolted to front cross member. I had to do this because of the All Pro bumper and front hitch. Anyone with Buds or thinking about Buds ought to check this out. I got tired of having to pull the whole front end apart just to pull a skid off. Which I had to pull the skids off a lot. This thing is a daily driver and gets a lot of miles so I'm always changing the oil.

Get what ya pay for with the winch. Cable wasn't tensioned on the spool and it broke the block stud just tightening it up. Fixed and respooled with it with the truck in reverse on it for tension.

So this is what I ended up with tonight. Waiting for a leak check in the morning then try and hit some trail over the weekend at HF.
