That does look higher.. but its the wrong side for the Taco lean. Well the fuel tank on the older rigs was on the passenger side so maybe its a Pre-Taco lean fix??

I was a bit turned off by the Front Range folks not being very friendly to any housing other than theirs... I'm sure their kit will work and I'm 95% certain I will go with their kit.

You know what... they do come with one and I can't recall why. But I remember reading about it.

I should have taken some pics but today...
Plasma'd the hole for the inspection hole. Fitted the inspection bung, top brace, and shock mounts. Sir Marlon welded them up. Looking good!!! -
Greased the birfs.
Spent the night prepping for paint, primer, spot putty... Now time to put this biatch together. Tomorrow, put the front end together and gusset the front end. I hope to start on the rear suspesion this Wednesday!!!
I am hoping for a shakedown in 2-3 weeks!!!

Well yesterday we worked from 9 am to midnight - then I had to drive 2.5 hrs dropping off Mario (his 4rnr needed a timing belt and was half apart) and driving back home.
Ran into a couple of problems...
Front diff didn't want to go on straight...
Used a die grinder and opened up each hole up and that puppy slid in there like butter!!!
Just before we took it off the lift. Our SNAFU was the holes for the bolts on the new vented discs were about 2 sizes too big!
Was hoping to have the front end complete!
