So its $30 vs $50.. then yoy have to buy a HPLV gun and have a compressor.I had 10's of dollars wrapped up in Clyde's paint job. Krylon Ultra Flat Khaki FTW.
But I do REALLY like the Rustoleum self etching primer.. it will be the color of the Raisin some day.

The long poles in the tent are Front Range Off Road (phuckers) and shocks. Right now the plan is to get a known spring - let's say 500 lbs on the bottom only, no spring on top. Then I will continue to put the Pig together and when I finally think I have the weight down (with sand bags or real loads like jack, etc), we will then measure the loaded spring length and determine what springs are needed.

I just noticed what lights those where. Cool idea to protect them like that., when I go flatbed I'll have to remember that.

After effing around trying to get some real assistance on getting my shocks (long story) - I went with FOA 16" shocks: 150/250 combo with med compression with light med rebound
I also ordered two shock rebuild kits since these aren't as popular as Fox or Kings.
Front Range has been doggin' me so if they can deliver by mid next week, I will still do the full float, otherwise, its chromo stocks for me.
I will be going up to dink around on it today and then I'm off on an ultra-light backpacking trip. Haven't decided if I want a sleeping bag or not!
