If you haven't damaged that spacer on TC's or Camburg's you're doing it right lol

Ive been there myself at least two times ~ hopefully now both of us remember to put the truck down before torquing (that was my issue)

Mine was using impacts on to tighten down the spacers lol It literally says in the directions to not do that.

But I drove the truck into work today and the front end is nice and quiet now!

Just upgraded my truck's insurance to cover my bumpers, sliders and stereo system for an extra $5 a month.

I realized after watching this video that I hadn't checked on my auto policy coverage in awhile. When I first got this auto insurance policy, I didn't have the bumpers or sliders.

Remind me to never get hit by anyone with State Farm lol... They came up over 20k just from him being diligent. Good for that guy!

I wonder how many people fall for their first lowball offer?

if it is determined that the other driver is at fault, then it shouldn't matter what your coverage is....they are required to "make it whole again."

Too many if they try that tactic...

They have a different definition of "whole" than you do. That's where the lawyers come in...

I did $17k worth of damage to the Taco. They replaced aftermarket bumpers and skids. USAA FTW. :)

I need to find out what insurance brutalguyracing had. They let him strip his old used and abused 4Runner of any parts he wanted from it and they gave him 23k. I didn't believe him so next time we had a camp meet he threw the paperwork in my face. I read it and I swear he gave his adjuster a BJ. In all my life I had never seen a truck in such bad shape get so much payout. The itemized costs he got for old ass mods was unbelievable.

That's Mr Asshole to you
I asked Farm Bureau about my parts and my agent said if I have receipts to just keep them if something ever happened to get them covered. He said they cover a lot of claims for trucks with bumpers, lifts, flat bed and other modifications since their main customer base is agricultural.

The lady I talked to didn't have a clue but to her credit she went and found out what she needed to do for me.

Swapped out my EBC brake pads to OEM 4Runner pads. Gotta love the 30 min brake pad swap out. So easy.

It just seems like once the EBC pads get halfway down, their performance starts to suffer pretty bad. So that's why I'm trying out the OEM pads instead of putting in more EBC Greenstuff pads.

You can ALWAYS fight it. I drove a $90k car for about $1000 a year because I fought when they wanted to repair a car that was rear ended. :)

Yep. I just didn't have the time to. Had my truck sustained more damage then I absolutely would have fought tooth & nail. But between my work and a new baby, I just had way too much on my plate.

Spent some time adjusting my drum brakes and E-brake cable since the shop I took my truck too didn't. I also haven't driven my truck much since I got it back from the shop as I've been DD'ing my wife's car to work. Won't ever go back to that shop since the shop manager I knew left there. He was the reason that the quality of the shop was so high and was an awesome dude to work with.

Pulled this out of my back tire last night and it didn't leak air thankfully. I threw on my full size spare tire just to be safe (I know my tread is low. These tires are about to be replaced).

No sadly. That one has been delayed since we can't go to Sweden to pick it up. :( The new Volvo is still on order but I can't travel right now because if I do, I have to self-quarantine for two weeks after my vacation per my companies policy. And I don't have enough saved up vacation time to take 4 weeks off at the moment.

My buddy did the factory pickup of his XC90. He loved the experience. I think he did the castle tour afterwards.
