How much of a brake do you get registering your truck in AZ?

at least $200 a year plus my truck wouldnt pass inspection in Cali, I have no choice but to either:
a) keep my truck registered in AZ
b) bring my truck back to legal specs
c) store my truck in AZ

What did you change that you feel you wouldn't pass smog?? (also there are always ppl in LA that would 'take care' of it!

- tires stick past fenders
- uncovered front off road lights
- modified suspension

...if you read the law carefully, Cali law is REALLY strict haha. You cant even swap out halogen bulbs for a slightly different color halogen bulb at autozone if they are not the same color.

Not much different from any other CA wheeler! I'm not sure that would stop any tickets.

out of state is the way to go. i am registered in oregon, live in LA ( not the cool one, the durty one). LA doesnt know Oregon law and cant enforce it a good perk.

if you have problems buy a mail box in oregon, use an address like a church in southern oregon (they dont check) then you can use oregon and is cheap.

I did that while i lived in CA for 9 months

CA is a dump hole for fags and a-holes with time to f tax payers

As far as CA - If you get a local cop to be a dick he can hose you on the out of state thing. I only know 'cause of a co-worker that's licensed here and has tags from MT. I forget what it cost him but I know it was a hassle for him.

true, oregon has a if you "snow bird" you can keep tags. only way out of that cop crap. but it CAN be a hassle
