I've got a 3 day weekend coming up (19th-21st) so I'll hopefully get the brakes and locker done then, ordering my sliders next paycheck so that may be the only other thing I need to get done

If you're taking a day road trip, I'll follow you down. It's hard for me to take more than one day away.

It looks like next Saturday the 12th is a go for me to wheel. It is supposed to be cold here next week and snow on Wednesday so I was thinking HF. Is HF doable in a day from here? If not we can hit up Bridgeport with Blake.

Depends you willing to drive to Marble Falls and back in one day?

That would be the plan since I am trying to keep this to a day trip. I am thinking it may be a little far for a day trip.

Google maps is saying Marble falls is 3 1/2 hours from North Fort Worth. Probably make it out there in just under 3. So that's 6 hours of driving. Leave at 6, get there around 9. Wheel until 5 or 6 and head back.

Let me know what you think, and I'll throw it at my wife.

Bridgeport would also be a good time, if it was dry out there. We could try some other trails.

That would make for a really long day. Lets keep this one at Bridgeport and hit up HF for an overnight camping trip.

This meet is still on for this weekend the 12th. Not the 19th. Unless something major happens and the bad weather we have tomorrow shuts the park down on Saturday and Sunday. From the looks of it so far it's:

Blake and cousin (Jeep): For sure - Camping Saturday night
Aaron: For sure? - Might be camping
Brian: ??

If any other DFW guys want to come out I think we'll be meeting at the park about 9:00-9:30 Saturday morning.

Originally this was for the 19th but I take my kitchen passes when I get them so this weekend the 12th is when I can go.
The weather this weekend should be real nice. Saturday is sunny and in the 60s. The snow should be gone by Friday afternoon.
I dont think I will be camping but I will have my stuff just in case. If I do camp I will have to get up early and come on back.

I am gonna try skipping out on work early to come up. I found out that my parents may be coming to town this weekend. Here is my plan. If my parents don't come, my daughter and I will be there. If the do come up, persuade them to watch my daughter, while I go wheeling!

Sorry for the wait guys. What time are ya'll going to meet up there?
I am going to try my hardest to come up, I dont want to be know as a flake. I'll keep you posted.

It's not that bad :p

But me and my cousin will probably get there about 9:00-9:30 Saturday morning. We're camping Friday night in the Caddo-LBJ Grasslands just north of Bridgeport then driving to Bridgeport Saturday morning.

Looks like I will be there with my 3 year old daughter. She loves climbing rocks.

I'm not sure on a time yet, should be close to 9. Are ya'll going to meet up somewhere and caravan out? Or just meet up out there?

My plan was that me and my cousin will be driving down from Alvord that morning but we may have to go back to Denton and then to Bridgeport. Hopefully not because that's an extra 2 hour driving time...
