Did you trade another person or sell it and buy another? Since I'm doing a straight up trade and no money will be exchanged.. I would think they would honor the rule. Worse case I'm out 75 bucks.

I sold it two years ago for $1200, not sure what the guy paid on his title transfer. If there is no $ exchange they use to make you say you paid $1 but not anymore. You will most likely pay the tax on BB.
When I registered the Dilux I told them I got it for $500 worth in parts, so that's what they valued it at, 
. Came out to ~$150 total, but that was at a title place. Will be cheaper if you go to the courthouse.

Depends on how old the vehicle is. Both of mine are 20+There you go, BB value= what you lie and tell them about it, no engine...

Its always been 25 years. When I titled Clyde last year I didn't have to use BB or the presumptive value. Since my vehicle was 25 years old, the value could be whatever I told them it was.
