I have a solar panel on top that would be covered by a RTT. On a trailer would be better.

How is that paying off for you vs initial investment.
Thinking about some for the popup to keep the winch battery ect charged up and installing a second battery for all the lights and even the heater(very low draw on the heater since it works off of propane).

It pays for itself in ease of use everytime I plug my fridge into it. Don't know about how it would do with a popup. You'll need to figure out the hourly amp draw and how big your battery is and do some math on it.

Set up the annex on the RTT for the 1st time... was more useful than I thought it would be...

Thought it looked familiar. My sister-in-law used to live there year-round, nice place.

I love my annex! :) In the winter, we call it our kitchen and den. :) (My tent is a bit different where the ladder is inside of the changing room.)

Was suppose to go to Garner this weekend, but the issues with the 4runner and a tornado touching down near Leakey thurs ruined those plans. My family was out there all last week they got hit hard by wind, rain, and hail. They lost a few things out there clothes, tents, and canopy's but everyone made it home along with some severe hail damage to all the vehicles. Estimates right now on my moms tundra is 5k in damage, haven't heard yet about the rest of my families vehicles. In all the decades my family has been going to garner this was the worst storm they had ever seen, in a way it was good we hadn't been able to make it, my little one might have been traumatized for life. Still wish this vaca wasn't wasted and I had been able to hit the Frio once this summer.

that is craziness

Yeah, I was watching game 4 at my sisters house, when all of it was going down, we were out of contact with our folks for 3 hours, and when the game was over the rain hit us here, strange weather. Strange week, filled with alot of up and downs.

We floated Saturday as well

lol we probably kayaked right past you. (One guy kayaks and pulls the rest of the tubes with him to keep us going. Cuts 2-3 hours off of the float time). I was drinking crown&coke out of a camelback
