Well we are booked on a 7 day cruise over spring break otherwise I would be in. But if the cruise falls through I'll be in! Doubtful that it will fall through though.. as much as I'm not looking forward to it... the rest of the family is. Maybe someday.. just someday I can get the vacation I want.

Next cruise I go on I'm not getting off the boat. I have more fun on the boat than at the ports.

Lake Livingston SP and Palmetto SP next month. Got a reservation for Dinosaur Valley SP March 17-19. Anybody with kids want to join in March.. Sean?

Dinosaur Valley is great, fantastic trails. First time we were there crossing the river to get to the trails, I noticed footprints in the river. Actual Dinosaur footprints.. pretty cool. Be aware it only has one bathroom, and it's heavily used... time your breaks when no one else is there.

I think Roger has one of those. The wife and I have matching Hog Park bags... things are rated to 20 degrees but man they are amazing. Kenna even has a teen age girl version of the bag. I'm a fan.

Yeah this one is rated to 15° IIRC. Super plush and looks like good quality.

Man the price was right for sure! My advise to making a tent last longer. Don't cut a hole in the door when you can't find the zipper at night to take a piss. Get some glow in the dark zipper pulls.

You know what really sucks? Waking up at 4am to take a piss and holding it while trying to find the zipper on a hammock bug net. Ive come so close to giving myself a golden shower multiple times it's not even funny anymore. By far the biggest negative I've found vs tent camping is the lack of immediate egress in an emergency.
