Component Setup

Okay now that I've got my subwoofer situation figured out I want to get a set of component speakers. I was talking to a guy at work and he told me that choosing the right amp for them is the most important thing. The set I was looking at earlier was 50W RMS but the lowest amp I could find was 200 RMS. Will I just have to buy an amp and crank it down or do they make amps that small? Also will it need to be 2 channel to power the tweeters an the speakers or would a mono work? Another thing was the crossovers. After reading about them for a while I finally figured out what they were. I noticed every component set comes with two. Is this one for the tweeters, one for the speakers? Or are they for the two speakers? Like I said in my sub and amp I don't really know any of this stuff and everytime I go to research it I feel like I'm reading Chinese.

I did some more reading while I was at work and I figured out that one crossover goes on each side (one tweeter, one speaker) but now I'm wondering does the crossover have different settings for each? Can you high pass and low pass the same crossover or would I need to bandpass? Like I said, I don't care about how loud it is I just want it to sound as good as possible.

You're definitely going to want a 2 channel amp. Also when you're looking at the wattages of the amps be sure and match what ohm rating the speakers have. Car audio is generally 2 or 4 ohm. And don't look at the bridged ratings since you won't be bridging the two channels together.
