You should pull your engine like rob did, strip and rebuild that thing. I'm confident in saying that the engine in the creampuff will out live rob after the teardown/rebuild he did.

Take it as a compliment to your engine building abilitys just stay away from those bicycles
It really wouldn't be a half bad idea to tear it apart being that it is smoking indicative of a piston ring that needs some attention.

LOL, I learned my lesson on the bicycles already, just finished paying off the medical bills from that fuck up. Not really sure what Keith has in mind for this rig, but if I was going to bet, it would be that we are going to pull that motor & fix it right.

Ok I pulled the brakes today and Damn! There was so much Alto mud it took an Hour to chip it all away, found that the calipers were shot to shit so I ordered new ones that will be here tomorrow along with new brake line for passenger side. Parts for this truck are sooo much cheeper then my taco, $37 each for new calipers and $15 for brakeline. I will put the brakes on tomorrow. I also changed the oil and added a little Lucas to it to try and limp the rings along for now.

When I had the tires off I went ahead and chipped out most of the mud etc from the front end, I also greased the upper and lower ball joints and found the uppers on both sides need to be replaced. I will go ahead and replace the lowers to while I'm at it. And if you will look at the upper rt side of the photo you will see that the floor is rusted out under the clutch pedal ( damn yankies and you ice on the roads) i will have to pull the carpetvand fab some patch panels for that asap.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, it's all surface rust so far, I was thinking of getting a cheep soda/sand blaster and going to town on that fram then hitting the whole thing with rustolium.

Ok the flatbed is off, there is so much fucking Alto mud packed in everywhere!I guess my buddy just mudded the hell out of it and NEVER cleaned it afterwards. I'm putting brakes on tomorrow then loading it up and taking it to my shop and hitting the whole truck with simple green and a pressure washer. While I have it there I will chop the frame and cap it, might add a few gussets in a few places too.

Stop the cancer now or that will be the end of that truck in a hurry, the body isn't so important but the frame rot is a big deal.
