Started removing some rust and got rid of most of the crumbling sheet metal. Alot of it was just held together by this rubber undercoating stuff that's also on my 4runner.

i heard from a local welder that it is better to spot weld on sheet metal to insure that you do not overheat the metal and warp it.

just work in spurts and just keep at it til the whole piece is spot welded up.

extreme 4x4 just had an episode talking about that same thing

That is what I had to do on my rear quarter panel, spot and move.

rtv might work with some jbweld. but i would at least spot weld some to make sure it wont move when you are drilling holes for the seats. or worse yet one time you try to jump in the driver seat and the floor falls out.

haha yea i would spot weld a few times around it and then glue the hell out of it i think the main supports are still there so its just pretty much to keep the mud and dirt out

awesome day

that is a great day...
our tower radar went out and try to imagine keeping 7 planes flying in a 5 mile (round) area from hitting each other, while trying to get 3 flights of a-10s and a certain grumpy general (in a learjet) of the ground... fun.

the fix you ask... our UNinterupted battery ( the backup also) failed.
fix you say? the fix was to switch the breaker! no joke.
