Christa rear ended someone with her Mustang today and I took the opportunity to snap a photo of the 4Runner since I had the camera out anyway to document the damage
This is the first accident she's ever been in that was her fault, so I'm not mad. The only thing that's disappointing is that it's not quite bad enough to be totalled even though the air bags deployed. She was a little shaken up, but otherwise fine.

Did you drive it home or have it towed off? There may still be time to bend the chassis before the adjuster looks at it.
Towed, dammit. I wish I would have thought of that,
I'm not convinced the frame isn't bent, I just doubt they're going to total it

man that sucks atleast shes ok.. my gf got hit the other day in her 02 jeep and they totaled it and it wasnt even that bad just the door and fender but labor was a killer so they have her a fat check for a new used car so now she is driving a ford explorer sport
We can only hope, I'd love to have her in a car I already know everything about.

dang man that sucks i hope she's ok. If the airbags deploy, isnt it considered a total? Where did u tow it to? If it hasnt been towed to a body shop yet I can recommend my brothers and I might be able to help you out. just like when I got in my accident.

that sucks about the car, hopefully she doing OK.
My sister n law had to get her arm reconstructed 8 pins and 2 plates all from the air bag. she had her hand on top of the wheel during a turn. She will have to get another surgery 1yr from now...
