I did some more messing around on the suspension this afternoon since I had to drive downtown. With no shocks I was able to get a more appropriate ride height. It's higher than I ultimately want, but now it's level with the rear, and with manual hubs the CVs will be fine.

When I first saw that Rock Dog or what ever he calls it, I immediately thought of that project thinking Rock Dog wasn't nearly as cool as a buggy or truck with a truly 'active' suspension. I guess I'll have to just enjoy my dreaming for now...

Maybe it's the lens on the camera but it looks like you have the same camber that I now have!

Just got off the phone with Downsouth, and it looks like I have only 1 shock option. It's not a bad one though:

Bilstein 5100
11.67" Collapsed
17.9" Extended

With such a short shock I really wanted something with an external reservoir, but they don't make them that small so I'd have to fab mounts. I might do that later down the road, but not right now.

Yeah, and I was having some trouble with the T-Bars since I've never messed with them before.

Still doesn't ride as good as it could. The new T-Bars should be way better since I won't have to have them maxed out.

Okay, the front settled about 2" after driving it down town. Here's a side pic. It's lower than it was in the front pic just 5 hrs ago, .

It does still sit a little low in the front but the new torsion bars should cure that. Looks good man!

It was level earlier today. If anything, the front was too high. I just don't think the stock ones can handle the load.

Don't crank those torsion bars any more, if they have that amount of twist after how much you had them cranked they are about to crack had this happen on a chevy once.

Luckily I don't have anywhere I have to go after tomorrow. I don't know when the new ones are supposed to arrive though, hopefully soon.
