If I had an actual console there probably would be but I have a bench seat with the fold down armrest/console so it's only a couple inches of space.

Just think about the CB again for another couple years and we will re-post again...lol

5' Firestick CB antenna came in today. I don't plan to have it mounted all the time and plan to use it less and less as more of you guys get HAMs. Here's some pics of how freaking tall it's going to be. Should be some bitchen reception right in the center of the roof.

Mount it on the passenger side, you will have less problems going into a drive-thru, just my experience or place it on the hood like a TOR unicorn.

Is it gigantic?

Yes

Is it freaking Awesome?

I think so

WTF is it?

It's a CB antenna mount that will distribute the force of a 5' antenna being hit by trees along an 8" section of my roof rack

Why does it have wings?

Why not (Real Answer: I felt like welding something)

I am CANADIAN.
Wow.

I dig the upgrade from the Dilux and the Taco. Nice! I like what you've done with it so far!

After messing with the bushings on the stock springs, I decided to put some power to the Dakars to remove the preinstalled bushings

Took a little bit of time to rig everything up. But once I did, they were out in about 15sec, lol

BTW, the verdict is Bad Idea! just tried it again to get the Trail Gear poly bushings out of the stock leafs and ended up jacking the hell out of my ankle

Got the Dakars in. I decided to move the axle back a little more, and the drive shaft separated, lol.

Waiting for the new U-bolt flip to arrive, need to make the shackles shorter, get a longer drive shaft, get some shocks, and I'm good to go.

Also, I don't think I'm going to need the AAL.

Will it be done in time for HF?
