I like some of the Slee stuff too, but it seems like a somewhat pretentious company to me

They are pretty proud of their stuff thats for sure. I just like the looks of their front and rear bumpers.. the sliders are so overpriced that you would think they are made out of titanium or gold.
My biggest beef with their company. They don't have much competition though. Luckily 4x does make a set, for about half the price
Pulled the EGR sensor out with the intention of removing it, but it was super filthy, so I decided to give it a cleaning before trying the alternative.
Also removed the stupid blue headlights and transformer and installed some Silverstar Ultras in both the Low and High beams. Then I ghetto rigged my ARB Compressor with some jumper cables and took the air pressure from 30 up to 40psi.

Not yet, but it was already intermittent. If you're ready to eliminate your EGR, I know how now.

Yeah, I believe that is what is wrong with the runner, the CEL has been on since I bought it, thought I fixed the problem but light came back on

Fo real? There is a little hint of it under my name in the vehicles list, I bought it back in december, it's a stock '99 4runner 2wd 4cyl. nothing special I use it for work, haven't done anything to it since i've had my money on reserve for the house and the wedding coming up, but soon it'll be the wifes, and i'll get my truck back, suppose to be getting a mail truck for the route, so I won't need to use my vehicle for work anymore, like everyone else I will be getting a trail rig

Nuff said.. seems there are plenty of play toys being sold these days so finding a nice trail rig should not be an issue.
I sat out in the car and tried to instal the iPod adapter I got. It didn't work, but I'm not sure if it's the stereo, or the adapter. Would anyone (Brian or Eric) be interested in letting me test it on their 4Runner? Supposed to work on those too.
While I had the dash torn apart, I went ahead and sacrificed my hazard button to use it for the diff lock instead. I moved it way lower in the dash and flipped it upside down so there would be less likelyhood of confusion.
