I feel so fortunate right now.

Just got off the phone with ECGS and they are shipping my 3rd right now.

About $400 in new parts and who knows how much in his labor and shipping. No questions asked although I was more than likely the culprit! And I admitted that to him as well and if he asked me, I would have paid for the new parts.

How many folks do you know other than your favorite active Realtor () that would be returning texts and phone calls at strange hours and on Sundays?

Kinda funny when you think I live in what some consider the car capital of the world, to be shipping my shit to Durham! HB - home to Overhauling, Boyd (the builders of the ZZ Top rides), Camburg, much of the hybrid development, prototype car building, home of Chip Foose (lives about 5 homes from my office), 20 minutes from Currie, etc.

Chase rocks. When I got my diffs re-geared and locked, it was super quick. Had a mix up on the Flange and he mailed me a new one for free and covered the cost of a local shop to install it even though it was only $40.

Yeah ECGS is pretty cool. They sold me the last 4.56 front gear set out there. Nitro said there is a 3 month back order on those 4.56s so ECGS now has a loyal customer for life.

ECGS kicks ass, though they had the same mix up with me and the pinion flange they sent me a new on for free. My only complaint was the slugish service but that was on Longfield for the cryoed gears.

Chase was cool enough where before, he didn't charge a core charge, but now he charges one. I don't understand some people. I personally offered these two guys that I would pick them up (45-60 minutes away from me) and ship them back to Chase. They don't move an inch.

I don't understand it for the life of me... so in other word (mine): Chase was robbed for $900 from these 2 guys - or as chase said - he did all the work for free. It will be interesting if they ever need warranty support!

That is really fucked up. I thought it was amazing that I didn't have to pay the core charge when I did mine. It's always a couple of dicks who ruin it for everyone.

Man thats totally F'd up.. Monkeyproof "won" that LT from AllPro and yet he feels the need to steal more from another company. I used to think he was somewhat cool, I mean he had paper plates and wheeled the rocker panels off that rig when it was stock... but for all I know he stole that shit too.

Yeah, I once thought he was a good dude - mostly because I give most everyone the benefit of a doubt. I've wheeled with him quite a bit but anytime I would ever ask if I could help him get back the 3rds - he would go mum. Since then and through some other more subtle shit, I have lost all respect for him - and I am sure he doesn't give a fuck about anyone's respect other than Jon Bondurant (All Pro).

We have a private board where I even questioned if Chase screwed him but no luck. I don't have any respect for this kind of shit. I am still willing to go pick them up from these guys but it is only out of respect for Chase, who supports our drug habit (wheeling! ).

That really pisses me off... the companies that really support our drug habit (not AP.. those are the guys feeding us the 50/50 baby powder mixed with crack ).. but the real companies that help us... CBI/Marlin/ECGS/Sky/Ballistic/Shrockworks... I'm forgetting more.. etc they generally are on tight budgets and operate just above margins. To pull that on one of them just because he is too lazy to send the 3rd member back is bullshit.

I would warn against that!!! I understand from other posts that you have very salty balls. You wipe that on that bumper and you will find the powder coating flaking off and major rust in no time at all!!!
