email notification

i keep getting email notification about posts to subscribed threads.

i have gone into the general settings and turned off the get an email notification but i still get them.

You'll have to drop your subscriptions since that setting is saved on a "per-subscription" basis. The setting in your control panel just changes what the default subscription type is.
