Ahhh I see...whatcha gonna do with the elocker housing? :)

Depends if I sell the housing with or without the diff. I have a 'new' 4.56 diff (new bearings, r&P, etc).

Hey thanks. If it was off an 05+ I would consider it. Thanks again!!

Oops, forgot the 05+ has an 8" IFS! Sell the front and keep the rear?

Let me know what happens with that elocker housing...I've been trying to track one down

I pm'd the guy to see what he wanted for price... I may have a bud that could use the front. I'd have to re-gear it but I'm okay with that.

Even better

If I really wanted to tear apart the front again, I would agree. For now I want to put a nice band-aid on the Taco so that I can focus on the Truggy again. Just picked up a new ARB RD129 for $725 which I think is more than fair for new with solenoid, switch, etc...

I think Drew is talking about you selling me your whole rear setup...so you have 4.88's and elocker? I'm guessing that shipping will suck but if your willing I may be able if I can sell the elocker diff I already have

I have 4.56s currently.

Looks like I have most all the parts now... just need to find a rear axle housing and find out if I need one or two bearings or all of them.

Bummer - thought I had a good deal on a RD129 - Advertised as new 129 was an RD89 - older 3 piece model... it may have been a fair price on a RD89 but would rather have the 2 piece model. :(

Just got off the phone with ARB. I asked them about the RD89 (Complete Offroad is trying to pawn off one as a RD129 - now I know why it was returned). Anyway, they said that they are phasing out the parts to the RD89 so that if I planned on keeping the truck for any length of time he suggested staying away from the 89. He went on to say that I wanted to save a few bucks, to just get a used one and for about $20-25 pick up the Orings and the Bonded Piston Seal. I must say, every time I talk with those folks, I get a good response.

On a side note, just called Warn and told them that I broke the handle to the Warn compressor and would like to buy a new one, he said Why? I said cause it's broken. He said, "No reason to buy it, I send you one for free!" :) They know how to feed the Crack Addict! lol

If anyone wants an 89 Complete is selling it for $700 which up until now I thought was a good deal.

This is a little off topic and you guys may not know cause you researched your buys and got lockers, but how can you tell when a mechanical LSD is going bad?

So one wheel only spinning.....great........I needs a locker. Something is telling me 100 yard 1 leggers on snowy roads isn't good for the LSD pads.
