4.56 in Taco, 4.88 in 4Runner. Since his is a first gen Taco I'd go 4.88.

Im thinking of doing some gears here pretty soon. Any negative comments on your 4.56's?
Only downside would be gas mileage/ highway RPMS. Right now 4.56s are impossible to find for the 2nd gen front diff.

So what 4.56 gears are not available? EGCS states that they have fronts and rears available for 2nd Gen Taco's.
