Those last two episodes of the Grand Tour have been my favorite so far.

Strike Back is back on Skinamax. Saw episode 1 of season 7 yesterday. Seems to be back on par with earlier seasons.

Not a TV series but I just picked up Alone in the Wilderness I and II, Alaska Silence & Solitude, and The Frozen North on DVD from PBS. Currently reading One man's wilderness An Alaskan Odyssey (50th Anniversary Edition) and figured I'd grab the DVD's.

I remembered seeing Dick Proenneke build his own cabin by hand on PBS when I was a kid. Pretty sure his shows got me into nature....well that and growing up in the woods with no neighbors on a dirt road.

Ive been watching his podcasts allot latley.
You can still find those Dick Proenneke on youtube.

Yea I was looking all over last week. The youtube ones aren't 100% complete. That particular title is 60+ minutes long on DVD and only 30min on youtube.

Tried youtube, PBS, Comcast, Netflix, and finally Amazon with zero results for online purchase.

Ended up getting the DVD's from PBS because they had 15% off. Amazon was the only other place I could find them but for $30+ more.

Black mirror on Netflix is good, but they just put an interactive movie on called Bandersnatch that’s pretty cool. I’m about to watch it again to see if I can get a different ending

So apparently some things should stay memories. I guess it had been so long I had put the experience on a pedestal reality could not match. The Dick Proenneke videos were kind of a let down. Something about watching hrs of blurry 16mm wind up camera movies isn't as exciting as it was when I was a kid watching on my tube tv. So if anyone wants to relive their past and get those DVD's - I'd advise you buy them used for cheap and don't expect much. I may even know a guy who has some to sell lol

Yeah might be better to watch it on a tube TV or some pre-2005 TV! Well watching the youtube videos had me enamored. I watched all of them I could find back-to-back.

Watching Knight fight on History channel, it’s mildly entertaining. I still prefer Rich’s old show though lol
