Greetings all...

I have been registered here for a little bit but haven't had allot of time to read up. I recently found a reply to an old PM that I sent someone on TTORA that directed me here. Looks like neither of us frequents that one often BearsFan07 but thanks for hitting me with the link to bring me back over here.

I've got a 2011 doublecab with 4wd and a longbed. Locker will get here soon but I wanted to get a few other things out of the way such as a supercharger and the suspension. I had contacted BearsFan07 about his zirc fitting article that he had wrote so I'm going to get started reading here soon to dig up his notes so I can perform my own while I have the front end suspension apart.

Thanks to the hosts for the site and I look forward to learning from all of you.

Glad you made it on over. Welcome.

Thanks for the warm welcome folks, much appreciated. I'm a semi-retired type that does some work part-time from home to get extra loot and am also a full time father while my wife works towards her retirement with DoD and the US Air Force Reserve.

We are both Texans but have been transplanted here in Illinois chasing her career. Southern Illinois isn't exactly the end of the world, but sadly it is a local call from here. With that said, let me get some more reading done and then I'll gladly take you up on your offers of input on the choices I make.

I grew up in central Illinois and moved to Texas after I got out of the AF (13 years). I'll take southern Illinois over central any time... at least you have hills. :)

It's an extremely frustrating place to be honest and most certainly not Texas. I know Scott AFB well, wife makes the commute there daily but we live east near Carlyle Lake as the St. Clair county monkey business was just too much for me. As to wheeling, around my place there really isn't much at all even though the locals sadly perceive mudding as wheeling. For quick trips we have taken to crossing the river to the west and heading into Missouri or jumping south east into Kentucky and Tennessee for our fun.
