nice! i eventually want to get a turbo diesel cruiser imported here to have that as my expedition rig and make my gasoline strictly for hard trail riding. but right now, I'm still looking for the tree that grows the funds for that!

If you want to skip all the work of importing, titling, etc yourself there's a guy not far from you that does it. Prices aren't too bad considering all the works done and they come with a Texas title. He had a few different ones when I was up there a few months ago. I don't have his info on me at the moment but can get it.

I've been looking at land cruiser direct, i know there are a few importers in the dfw area but id want someone that has dealt with land cruisers for a while. each shop usually specializes in a few specific make and models, the one i know of it usually getting hondas, nissan, and smaller toyotas. what is the shop you're talking about??

This guy does Land Cruisers only. He's located in Van Alstyne. He had 5 or 6 when we were up there at his place. And parts galore. He had enough parts to build a couple more cruisers. Including complete diesel drivetrains. He'll also do diesel swaps but not on 80 series. He'll only do them on 40s and 60s.
