No new rig, yet.

I'll either drive down Saturday morning early. Or drive down to Johnson City Friday night, and drive back up to Hidden fallas on Saturday morning. My father in law lives in Johnson City, and I may drop my wife off down there. I probably won't know until the week of.

What was wrong?

Long story short, I was on the freeway, a speed square flew out of a guys truck, bounced, broke the whole glass, punctured a hole in my roof, went through the headliner, messed up the back part of the roof. My whole roof might have to be replaced because of the hole but idk yet. My brother is dealing with all that crap. All I know is I am getting a new Mustang for a rental tomorrow

Ya it actually sucks really bad. not to mention the insurance company the other guy has is crap. So Now my insurance had to step in and take care of it all. Lucky my brother works a ken Batchelor Caddy and he is gonna fix my truck. But still... its a bunch of crap. All I know is that the rental car isnt going to have any tires when it gets back to them.

Very Very true. Even tho it was me, I am glad it hit me and not anyone else. If it would have hit a person that would have been automatic death no questions asked. I had some glass in my eye and tons in my arms. Im trying to put up some pics but idk how. I just finally figured out how to post up avatar pics

LOL.. well glad you where injured too badly. Hope they fix your truck like it should be fixed. I has a washing machine fall out of the back of a truck on I35 one morning going to work... it was about 5:30, dark out (duh) and it fell out probably 3 or 4 cars ahead of me. Those cars swerved and avoided and then the guy in front of me clipped it sent it spinning into me. I swerved yet still hit it.. I remember looking in my drivers side mirror and seeing sparks! I called my insurance company and said "I just hit a washing machine".. he said "What was it doing".. I said "It appeared to be on spin cycle".. then he said "I'm going to record this conversation".

I also read on the interwebs that a shitload of Rovers will be there. Don't worry, they stick to the ranch roads and level 2 trails. I giggle when I see em out driving around going in circles.

LMAO.. thats exactly what its like.. toughest trail they did in that video was Green Horn. It DID have a pretty nasty bowl, but the ledge has been knocked down so much that its now pretty easy (obviously). The rest of that was the perimeter road and Dino Falls.

Those guys REALLY need to invest in the some more aggressive tires.. how many times did you see the rigs just sliding down an obstacle? lots.

What WILL suck.. is not getting to the park early enough on Friday to get a good spot to camp. Unless you want to camp by the guys who will be going to bed by 9, drinking tea and talking about soccer.
