swapping motors is a pain in the ass. I have done it 3 times with these fox bodies. Gotta change wireharness, fuel lines, rear end, and some other little stupid stuff. And if I ever do swap it out i will be keeping it.

Make sure u have sliders. And a locker if u don't already. A cb will help as well.
I have sliders in the garage, i just have to weld em on and a lunchbox locker in the rear. Im gonna look into a cb. It just sucks because i have to wait till i get back from Iraq before i can get to it

I wouldn't go out there if I didn't have sliders or skids for that matter my trans pan has a hole in it cause I didn't have a skid covering it

My truck is stock except for tires and I will not take it back out on the trails till I have sliders. I would make getting those on your truck the first thing you do before getting anything else ready. If you dont have time to install a CB, pick up a hand held unit.
I have a IFS skid, but im gonna pick up a tranny skid as well.
Ill be getting back early May so I should have enough time to get everything on. Need to look up a little bit about CB stuff though

CB Stuff is pretty easy. I knew nothing about till last summer. Still don't know that much but enough to install one in my truck. I think I did a write up around here somewhere. If you go with a fiberglass antenna get a firestick or if you go magnetic get a wilson. Make sure your antenna has a good ground and you should be good to go.
I probably won't have skids, so we can take some different trails from the other crew if you want. You'll be fine though if you know what you're doing.
