When I was on Active Duty I spent several months assigned with our wounded Heroes at Brook Army Hospital in San Antonio after my surgeries. Believe this or not it was one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life.

We did just short of 200K last year on this event and, unfortunately, I'll think we'll be down from that this year.
Without an active war, people forget about the people that were hurt during it.

Since it's all-volunteer, we'll keep doing it until no one shows up... every dollar counts...
