Understood. We are camping at Colorado Bend SP on Friday.

Sounds good, I will prob get packed on Thursday and head strait out of work around 1 or 2 pm on Friday. I am expecting about a 3 or 3-1/2 hour drive to get to CB SP so I should be there before dark.

I've reserved a spot and Scott and his wife, and I believe Sam and Bianca are staying there. You are welcome as well. We are allowed 8 people per site. I'll be using my Tent Cot so I can park that thing anywhere really.

Check your route Rob, if you are heading across 79 let me know and Sam and I can meet up with you. Its possible that he might be swinging by my place first (the roll bar from Clyde is still in my garage and he has dibs on it... so schedule permitting I'd like to get it installed or at least out of the garage. )

Depending on what time you plan to head out I can likely just swing by your place first and then follow you guys out. I will be sleeping in the back of my truck so no problems there. I'll also pay for a site if I need to, it's no biggie. Do I need to reserve one?

whens the houston crowd leaving on friday(aka sam)? im still thinking im going to come out to this, especially since i have that monday off as well and might spend an extra day out that way. Sean you care if i stay at your camp site if i make it out?

Colorado Bend State park has some really awesome water falls to check out. It's a bit of a hike, but they're pretty bad ass. Don't look like they belong in Texas.

Not sure.. depends if we need to pick the kids up from school or not, depends if dad is well and can watch them or not. Won't know till we get closer... truly, I would like to take Friday off and go early so I can hike to the falls and check them out. I will let you know as soon as I know a solid time Broker.

I will be leaving 1488 and 2978 at 3:45. I will take 1488 to Butlers crossing(old149), north to 105, 105 to HWY 6 to Herne, from Herne FM485 to Temple etc...

so you will be taking back roads most of the way out there, fun roads tho, i travel them quite often in the warmer months w the bike. I prob wont be leaving houston till 4pm. and be departing from 290/tollway. might be able to catch up w you around navasota or temple.

We have a farm in Hamilton, that is the fastest way to get out in that region...If you go on HWY36 you will run into more small towns and more bears on 4 wheels.

You will be driving literally with in a mile of my place when you pass thru Bryan on 6 but I will be gone already.

Broker if you can get out any earlier than I could wait for you.
