How long before Toyota T24A-FTS swaps start happening?

So Toyota knows how to make 4 cylinder motors that run for decades. Now that they are making a new supply of factory boosted 4 cylinder motors how long will it be before we start seeing them in old Tacomas and 4Runners? Buggies? The 266 hp and 310 ft/lbs of torque that would make any lightweight early Toyota fly or really turn a dual case gear box to crawl up a rock wall. The turbo is cooled so that is one reliability issue that has been tried and proven thru Ford's EcoBoost motors.

I am still trying to find a weight for just the turbo'd motor to see how it would compare to other popular swaps.

While it would be cool, Toyota makes it too difficult to alter their engines these days. I would think pulling that motor out of a wrecked vehicle would require a lot of "extras" to make it even run. I could be wrong.

I do think this would be a good start for a lightweight crawler, plus Ford likes people to modify their stuff.
