Nice! and I'm jealous of the manual hubs, my Jeep had manual hubs and it was great. The only time I like the push button 4WD in my 4Runner is when its raining and I can throw it in AWD (multimode xfercase).

I hope I don't ever do anything that dumb. Plus I can still lock up the rear diff with the push of a button... or 2

lol...it does happen sometimes when your driving along and the bottom falls out suddenly. Then the suck fest begins, I've had to jump out in knee deep mud and dig down to lock a few times down at the river by my house.

I never push my button? I throw the lever in 4lo whenever I wheel, but rarely do I ever hit the button..?

Yours doesn't have the multimode, I think yours is still a J-shift. I believe only the 99+ with the center diff lock have multimode cases

Seriously? I thought only Land cruisers came with that case. I'm gonna have to rethink what I'm looking for for Christa, lol.

Its the same case they used in the LC's, one of the reasons I got Ang a 4Runner (besides the obvious selfish reasons of wanting another one lol )
