What happens when you run shit Federal ammo through a suppressor. This ones serial # is destroyed according to the owner so it's a total loss. Also, don't run suppressor wraps if you're doing mag dumps. This suppressor only had about 1k worth of rounds through it and the owner had just got it out of jail too. So another $1k + $200 tax stamp + 1 year wait time for another suppressor.

My adding paint to my sockets was just practice for this.
I also ordered a trigger and slide cover from Hyve. I really like the shield, but the trigger feels like squishing a turd. I've read good reviews on the Hyve trigger and its less than half the cost of the Apex. So hopefully this fixes the trigger.

While installing my new speed loader action on my Versamax, I realized how slow the bolt rebounded. I figured the Action spring was worn out after ~4k+ rounds of birdshot, 3-1/2" magnum duck shot, slugs and buckshot. So I ordered a new Action spring from Brownells for $13 shipped.
So I installed the new spring and my bolt rebounds like new. It was definitely time for a replacement spring.

Awesome! Long range steel shooting is addicting. I still remember my first shot to 700 yards, seeing the round hit and then hearing the steel ring. Hooked for life now

I keep seeing these deals from Primary Arms for stripped lower receivers. The latest add was $28.99 limit 3.
$28.99 for a lower receiver. I mean.....how can you not? I don't want to lose money on the deal. But then I think about shipping and FFL transfers. I'm guessing it's closer to $50 each, but I still want to by them. I just know that I shouldn't.
