Nice work.. my only fears about skids mounted directly to t-case is the impact it transfers to the t-case. I personally would prefer it go to the frame. My 2 cents.

nice build, but get it mounted to the frame!
I may have busted my transfer case end of July when I was doing a climb up some rock shelves, and at the break over I dragged the T-case skid. Ended up snapping the 2 rear mounts and had to do a trail repair.....
Yes, minor scratch.... found out that there is something All-Pro makes that is strong. The T-case is weak in this case.

Well if I can help save someone the issues I had, then its worth it.
Also found out that having break cleaner, steel epoxy, gasket maker, and extra gear oil in the truck paid off!

They made a t-case skid that's not mounted to the frame, but to the t-case itself?

Or another way of saying is Great Moment of Inertial of that Compound C-Channel. Bad application but they would have needed to have hired an engineer to design it properly. And they don't work for $12 an hour!
