Make sure you've got clearance for the coil. That shock looks awfully tight to the frame to squeeze the coil in there

If you don't end up using those coilover mounts I think Wayne might want them.

My coils should be here today to I can check for clearance. That's one reason I haven't burned them in yet. The driver side mount will be the main challenge. I didn't want to redo all of my steering linkage to the orbital or have to end up notching the shock tower mount. There is just not enough room in that area. I may have a use for them in the rear since I have been stocking up on parts for a 4 link.

nice progress so far, you need to change your title, Big Red 85 Build, the extra blue pills you put into the gas tank, make this build no longer small.

I had a chance to work in the truck for a solid 3 days. I got the front welded out and painted. Both coilover mounts are done. The full hydro is mounted and the lines are plumbed. I finally finished mounting my last tire and torqued it to spec.
I mounted the front grille and welded in the driver side seat mount.

I should have a roller by the end of the week when I get my coilovers back from Brave Motorsports. I'm pretty excited. It has been a long time coming.

Thanks. I did learn an important lesson over the weekend. Always support the pinion with a jack stand when removing links. I just about lost a foot when that heavy ass D60 started going forward. To quote Alex #fabishard I had to have a couple beers to calm down a little. It was a close call for sure.

We have a roller. Links are 98%, steering is plumbed in and bled, the engine fired up after 8 months on the first crank and the auto seems to be working correctly. I'm pretty happy.

Short test drive completed. Still a few things to check before I drive her in the street. Notice the tire shine
