I got alot more room in the driveway these days,

Got home about an hour ago, bottle jacked the Runner up and got it on jackstands. Removed the wheels etc but I can't seem to get the damn caliper bolts to loosen!!:mad:
Soaked em in PB blaster and now I'm going to enjoy a Captain and coke, I'll go try em again in a bit but if they still don't budge it'll just have to wait till the morning.

Got the bolts off, calipers removed...gonna wait till morning to put on the new rotors & calipers

But I'm an idiot, I removed the calipers but forgot to take off the wheel spacers so I had to "rebuild" the calilper and re-install but I'm having a bitch of a time getting the spacers off...I don't think we used loctite when we installed them? Do you remember Drew?

FUCK! Drivers side brake LINE broke!:mad: Passenger side is finished, went to do the caliper on the driver side and {SNAP}

What broke? the fitting or the line itself, I think you can get the fittings for your local autoparts but the whole line might be troublesome to locate

It snapped right behind the fitting on the caliper side, its only like $10 but I can't get it till Tuesday...guess I'll be calling in to work, woot for a long weekend (and I'm closing on the house Friday so I'm taking that day off too...glad tax/audit season is over!)

I've got a flaring tool now if you want to fix it

You can but pre flared pieces at the parts store and bend them yourself, I did that on the dilux.

Yeah, I went to O'Reilly's and got some brake line and a bender and finished up just before dark. Didn't get finished pics cause it was dark but I'm sure everyone has seen Tundra brakes on a Runner/Taco before. Probably going to have to bleed them again sometime this week because they're kind of spongy...but at least I finally got the bastards installed.

Drew and I pulled the locker today, gear set was good and it drives fine now...sucks that I'm no longer locked but its great to be able to go over 60mph again. Bled all 4 corners when I got home and the brakes are great now...that is all
