I picked up the new Magnificent 7 in 4k BluRay. What a fucking waste. It took me 2 days to watch that crap. A so-so 5 out of 10. Not impressed. RedBox it.

was it as good as the first?

Yes and No. The action was better but it was getting a little monotonous by the end of the movie. Jujitsu move to get the guy on the ground then shoot bad guy in the head or shoot > run around corner > wait for bad guy > shoot bad guy in knee or foot.

The storyline could use some improvement as well. In the first movie, you get a taste of their world with the gold coins and weird rules they have in place. But in the second movie it gets weirder to the point that it's almost implausible.

All in all it's still a great action movie. You can tell Keanu has been working on his weapon techniques.
