Sliders are probably the only thing you "need". You can get some from 4xinnovations for ~$300 after shipping.

I'd start with sliders. Probably skid plates next. They protect the serious damage. The bumpers will still get scratched up or even a little tweaked but those are parts that can be more easily replaced if you even care.

Too many things to respond to on this thread today. All I can say is, bring on the Glades!

Count us in Greg. Should be the wife and I again. Hopefully by then we will have the Jeep of hers going and I'll have the tacoma. It will all depend on the schedule that she bids on. And hopefully, crossing my fingers, ill have my new suspension by then. But count us in for now. And I got a tent, and that same custom grill from last time.

Yeah, and gonna be hard to predict, at least right now, how much to save up. With prices going crazy. Maybe i'll just plan on $5/gallon, and anything less is a bonus.

So thats 2000 miles round trip divided by 250 miles per tank= 8 fill ups times 16 gallons per fillup= 128 gallons times $5= a mere $640.

I just drove my work car nearly 400 miles. Mostly highway, IIRC 5400 lbs, 4.4 liter and I got 25.8 mpg - WTF? Now with that gas mileage it may be cheaper for me to mount a hitch to it and tow my taco!!!
